The History and Mission Statement of
Atlantis Product Company

Founded in 2005, Atlantis Product Company(APC)manufactures video electronic products ranging from DIY video surveillance systems to digital cameras.
Products are sold under the Navigator, Videoman and Multicam brands for security products and the Atlantis brand for underwater camera products. All the products are engineered and designed in USA. Atlantis products are assembled at APC’s location in New Jersey. Our newest addition is a line of consumer security products that will be sold under the SECURITY FIRST brand.
The company headquarters is based in Englewood, New Jersey and occupies a 10,000 square foot facility, which includes executive offices, warehousing, showrooms, and quality control center. The company also controls a 50,000 square foot warehouse, assembling and packaging center in the city of Torrance, California.
Principals of the company include Jay Kim, President, Sunny Lee, Executive Vice President, Hank Van Baalen, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Jay Kim holds Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University. He has over 15 years of experience in CCTV (Closed Circuit TV) industry. His experience includes product development, overseas outsourcing components and parts, and sales and marketing CCTV products with Panasonic and Mitsubishi CCTV division.
Hank Van Baalen has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the consumer market. He previously worked as Director of Sales for Royal Consumer Business products, National Sales Manager for Olympia, USA, and V.P. of Sales and Marketing for Remington Security Camera Inc., World Office Products Manufacturing Co., and Achiever Shredders and Office Products Co. He also owned a manufacturer’s rep firm and represented several lines including Diebold, Inc. (Security Products), AT&T(Telephones), PC Concepts(Computer Peripherals) and Messina(home theater surround sound speakers systems.)
APC strives to meet the higher standards of consumer needs through innovative product design, consumer friendly technical support, and manufacturing done by experienced factories. All products are developed through in-house engineering and design staff.
◊ APC’s business activity includes four divisions listed as follow:
• Consumer Division - Design and develop First Alert and Navigator home security products. Products are sold through mail order companies and mass merchants. Also distribute through security distributors and system integrators.
• Sporting Goods Division – Design, development and assembly of Atlantis brand underwater camera system and hunting camera. Sell through sporting good chains, specialty mail orders, scuba diver dealers, and fishing and tackle distributors.
• Computer Division – Design and develop computer-based cameras and distribute through mass merchants.
• Automobile Division – Design and develop Navigator and Videoman automobile Rearview systems and distribute through automotive dealers & distributors, installers, system integrators, and OEM customers.

Consumer
• 1st to introduce Multicam, a multi-purpose video surveillance camera that connects up to any TV, monitor, or VCR.
• Introduced two-wire video entry system.
• Introduced DIY 2.4 Ghz wireless video surveillance system.
• Introduced wireless outdoor speaker, July 2002.
• Introduced inspection camera at Hardware show in Aug 2002.
• Introduced DIY orthoscopic digital camera at CES in Jan 2003.
• Continue to introduce innovative surveillance and observation products throughout 2003.
Sporting Goods
• Designed and engineered Atlantis underwater camera system.
• Introduced automobile rearview system for transportation industry.
• Designed and engineered Atlantis Hunting Camera, Fall 2002.
• 1st to introduce underwater panning camera with remote control at ICAST in July 2002.
Computer
• Developed proprietary ASIC chip and developed and engineered DVR board.
-1st to introduce MPEG4 DVR(Digital Video Recorder) board for consumer market.
• Introduced Pencam, a digital camera with PC camera function.
• Introduced web server camera in July 2002.
• Introduced Pencam with digital voice recorder.
• Introduced Wireless Web Cam in July 2002.
• Introduced Digital Binocular Camera in May 2003.
Automobile
• Introduced 12V 960 hours VCR for transportation industry, March 2002.
• Introduced 12V DVD/VCR combo, Winter 2002
• Introduced 7” wide screen LCD TV/Monitor for 12V market in Nov 2002.
